DID THEY OR DIDN'T THEY?

APPARENTLY, THEY DID - i was out taking photos of ravens in the patrick henry field when some people drove up and spoke to me for a moment before their walk - they complained about all the new unnecessary fences, and among other things said they heard from a full circle farm member that some ground squirrels had been trapped and killed etc (click here)...

i then went over to the peterson field and secretly interviewed what appeared to be one of the farm managers, and he denied the squirrels were being harmed other than through natural means such as gopher snakes, which have not been introduced as of yet (a creature neighbors will absolutely LOVE slithering around their backyards) and while i have not seen the last of the original two red tailed hawks for at least a month, he claimed it has been seen at the field as of late (click here)...

then today a friend came by and told me the president of the local raynor park neighborhood organization heard at least some squirrels had in fact been trapped and drowned, AND THEY SUPPOSEDLY DID IT WITH THE HELP OF THE REPUBLICAN-FREE ZONE DOWN AT CITY OF SUNNYVALE!? read this
NOTE: i saw this coming a mile away; 1) the SCUSD brought in full circle farm under false pretenses by illegally covering-up the presence of wildlife at the peterson field with their bogus 'white paper'; and 2) the SVPD and the sunnyvale city council worked in concert to destabilize and/or silence my efforts to bring the presence of wildlife to the publics' attention by either stalking me at public meetings and/or shutting me up and kicking me out of a city council meeting [see: CCP AND/OR CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY]; 3) and now ground squirrels are the problem?! -- I THINK NOT! -- humans are the real problem here; stupid humans who think they can get away with MURDER - and those humans had better think again > QUESTIONS: 1) what does this say about our environmental review process here in chiphead valley; and 2) what does this say about the validity of our public process here in america?...

WILDLIFE HABITAT UNDER SIEGE

FULL CIRLE FARM finally tilled the ground at the peterson field last week, and when i saw the environmental devastation, i spoke to a farm worker who arrived at dawn and asked about the reckless field tilling, reminding him 1) an incidental take permit was needed - and 2) i was going to contact the EPA and report this environmental abuse - he told me they initially expected 'a bloodbath' [driving a multi-ton tractor over damp soil during the sensitive winter hibernation, possibly crushing ground squirrel burrows etc] but was surprised to see many ground squirrels pop up after the tilling, munching on the newly unearthed food [insects etc] i had a hard time believing this due to the devastation, so i carefully watched the ground for signs of life, but saw no movement whatsoever [i will continue to keep an eye on the field to see if he is indeed correct about their survival]...
the most ridiculous thing about all of this is; the large area of ground between the football field and the street has absolutely no wildlife living on it, but it was not tilled!? they plan on putting buildings there instead of crops!? who are the idiots behind this planning process, anyway?...
also; the red tailed hawks who sat on the post which was placed there for them (see photos) initially showed up early in the morning, but then abruptly left due to the drastic changes in its' habitat - this is the coldest time of the year, so if those hawks do not have something to eat...
and when irrigation eventually occurs, the ground squirrels will likely be forced out of their burrows and/or drowned...
> it appears that various environmental laws have been broken in this process and your voice makes a difference! report this abuse! - call EPA Administrator Stephen Johnson @ 202-564-4700 and/or contact CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND GAME @ http://www.dfg.ca.gov/about/contact.html and/or call Cal-TIP toll-free @ 1-888-DFG-CALTIP (888-334-2258) and/or call (916) 445-0411

NOTE: an activist lady friend of mine recently rode in a vehicle with the head of the california coastal commission - she had been part of a successful lawsuit which went to a federal magistrate who agreed to stop the US navy's dangerous use of sonar in the oceans due to environmental concerns [by the way; there is a newer sub hunting system based upon electromagnetics which essentially does the same thing the present sonar system does, but the technology is presently being ignored] then that idiot mister bush stepped in and ordered the US navy to continue using the sonar ~ similarly; the cities of santa clara and sunnyvale placed duck crossing signs in lik roper's neighborhood way back in the environmentally friendly 1990s - then our psychotic government went psycho as usual and arrested mister roper for feeding the same ducks he got permission to feed from mayor judy nadler at an october 2000 santa clara city council meeting!? [after he had been repeatedly attacked, and with all exculpatory evidence ignored and duty derelicted etc]...
it is quite clear the US government does not discriminate when it comes to discrimination; not only do they fail to care for almost all forms of wildlife [whales, ducks, ground squirrels etc] but also -- unless you are an unborn fetus -- between the depopulation of warfare, carcinogenic pollution and global warming etc, it seems all other life is at risk as well...
